My friend Bruce Hallett and I went to Uganda and Kenya with Ed Harper and Susan Scott and a group from 3-18 Aug 2009. On this page is some general information on this trip, and at the bottom of the page are links to pages of photos of birds, animals, and other nature shots from this trip. The Uganda part of the trip was led by Paul Tamwenya (L) and Herbert Byaruhanga (R) of Bird Uganda. They did a great job of finding us birds and mammals! We had superb guides in Kenya too, mostly from the two lodges where we spent the most time (Lewa Downs and Rekero Safari Camps, both of which were outstanding, see below).
